At Rio de la Plata Bakery in Corona, Queens, Christian Gimenez does what he always does: he goes heavy on the World Cup. Amidst medialunas, mate, coffee, stories, and a mural dedicated to Maradona, Messi and Mafalda, he organizes a screen big enough for the neighborhood to gather around.
