Azteca is Everywhere

Estadio Azteca, in Mexico City, is one of the most storied grounds in world soccer. From the “game of the century” at the 1970 World Cup to Maradona’s “hand of god” in ‘86, legendary moments have been etched into history here.

For the Mexico National Team, Azteca is the beating heart of Mexico’s national obsession with the beautiful game. But no amount of concrete could ever contain or fully capture the futbol fever that has made the sport part of Mexico’s national identity. For El Tri, it is the energy of North America’s largest metropolis - Mexico City - that is the home field advantage. Azteca is everywhere.
